Welcome to the Kevin Rowe Events’ Film Awards’ or more commonly known as the OsKaRs Fundraising show!

We created this show almost ten years ago and it’s gone on to raise over €20million for Schools, Sports Clubs, Charities and CSR projects nationwide. This show has been produced in every County all across Ireland with most of our clients repeating it multiple times!

On average our clients raise anything from €40,000 up to €200,000 for their chosen charity or organisation.

Film Awards fundraiser can be an incredible event for any organisation. We cater for events of all different sizes. This event is so much more than a fundraising event. It brings people together. It connects communities and creates long lasting memories. Some of our biggest events have been produced in small rural parts of Ireland. Aside from fundraising it helps with Team Building, Community Engagement, Personal Development, Social Integration and learning all things films/acting!

We are the creators of Ireland’s No.1 Fundraising and Team Building Event! The Film Awards (OsKaRs) has swept across Ireland over the last ten years. Over 30 million has been generated for good causes including Sports Clubs, Schools, CSR Projects, Charity Groups and so much more! We operate this event in every part of Ireland and the UK!

Nobody does not enjoy a great red carpet moment. You will get to show off like an A-lister at the Film Awards Fundraiser. Every arrival is an opportunity to feel like a celebrity with cameras flashing and fans (okay, maybe just your friends) applauding. Indeed, the pictures are most certainly Instagram-worthy!

This is your chance to shine whether it is natural in front of the camera or just like a great chuckle. Besides, it’s all for a fantastic cause; why not have some fun?

How does it work?

We co-host an information evening with the participants, where we explain the process, fundraising and timelines of the event. These meetings are normally held locally in a Hotel Function room or a School/Community Hall.

Shortly after the meeting we cast everyone into different films and mix and match people into different parts/roles.
We take care of every part of the entire process which leaves you ready to concentrate on your fundraising objectives!

After the movies have been cast and actors have completed their training, filming of the seven (8 – 10 minute) movies begin. Filming takes place over 3.5 days on two consecutive weekends: totalling 28 hours (5 hours filming per movie).

Each actor has a target of €500/€1,000 to fundraise. They also get an allocation of tickets to sell for the Awards Show. These events normally attract a huge amount of people attending! So there are great ways of earning more revenue through voting and a raffle on the night.

The Film Awards Fundraiser is the ideal match for every kind of fundraising—from school spirit enhancement to charitable donations to community building. This is a flexible event fit for any sort of gathering, large or little. Thus, prepare ready to change things while having fun by gathering friends, relatives, or coworkers.

What’s Included

Acting Coach: A total of 18 hours (including 3 hour casting).
In-person Meetings: 2 meetings are included in your package (introductory & information night as explained above).
Sound & Lighting Engineers: Two sound engineers & one lighting engineer will be on site during the day & night of the event.
Camera Crew: We provide Ireland’s best Camera Crews for filming!
MC: One professional MC for your Event will be assigned.
Plasma Screenss: Depending on venue we will provide two plasma screens for your event together with large projector screen for movie viewing.
Event Co-ordinator: Assigned member of the KRE Live team to assist throughout the process, (allowing for 12 hours, additional hours chargeable).
Event Manager: On site in the venue from 11am. The event manager will be managing all aspects of the production. Show end time is 11.15pm or before. De-rig time is midnight.
Artwork Design: Poster, ticket and sponsor card for the event will be designed according to the ‘Poster Questionnaire’. With one change included.
Props: Two giant size specially designed & cast statues, Red Carpet entrance & our ever popular ‘Almost Real Celebrity Invitees!
7 Trophies: For Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Movie, Highest Grossing Movie & Highest Grossing Individual.
7 Movies: Full production and filming of seven 8 – 10 minute movies.
Red Carpet Interviews: Teach movie cast is interviewed as they arrive on the red carpet.

Our Film Awards Fundraising Planning Process

When you hire Kevin Rowe Events, we follow a Strict Process to make sure your event goes well. Our step-by-step process makes sure that everything fits with your goal and meets all of your needs, so you can be sure that the experience will be smooth and memorable.

    Initial Consultation and Theme Selection

    The first thing we do is meet your organisation/committee. You tell us about your project and we can be realistic about your fundraising objectives. We will set out a timeline and advise on a venue which the event can take place locally.

    Concept Development and Design

    The next step is for the committee to confirm they are proceeding. Venue is booked and then shortly after a deposit is paid to secure the event. We set out a timeline for the information evening, casting and launch night. We design the artwork for the posters, tickets and sponsorship cards.

    Participant Recruitment and Film Production

    Recruitment is vital for this event to work properly. Having created and founded this format we have a wealth of advise and guidance to give. The first phase of this fundraiser is vital. We will go through everything in detail regarding recruitment.

    Participant Recruitment and Promotion

    Collect your stars, for the moment has come! To make sure that everyone involved in the film production is enthusiastic and prepared to shine, we assist with participant recruitment. Here is where all the fun begins, and everyone has a chance to shine.

    Budget Planning and Management

    Our costs for this event are set out in stone at the start. Everything is very clear and will be presented in writing so you have a record. Aside from our costs other expenses that you might incur would be the venue hire, maybe finger food for the cast members on the night of the event, some drinks/food for your launch night.

    Location Choosing 

    The place you pick is very important! Normally this is down to geography and the size of the function space. Our events would range from 500 people up to 5,000 people. The bigger the venue the more tickets you will sell. We look after all of the production and the Gala Entrance for the night. Some of our draping, lighting and props are incredible!

    Coordination

    Our company has many Full Time and Sub Contracted staff. Some of our Sub Contracted staff have worked with us for many years. When the project commences you will be assigned a Client Account Manager. They will assist you with everything during the course of your event. Our Social Media and Marketing team are also on hand to assist with any advice or guidance in the initial stages of your project.

    On-Site Management and Coordination

    On the big day, we’ll be in charge of everything. We are in charge of everything, from the production, draping, lighting and timings of the event. There will be very small jobs the committee will have to do on the day/night but we take at least 90% ownership

    Award Ceremony Execution

    We’ll make sure everyone remembers it when the awards show comes around! We’ll make sure the event goes off without a hitch and recognises everyone’s hard work in an exciting and memorable way.

    Post-Event Evaluation and Feedback

    80% of our clients are repeats! Some clients we have worked with on 7 or 8 different projects over the years. We want feedback so we can find out what went well and what could be done better. We can make the next event better because of your comments. On top of that, we value your input very much!
